Peninsula Tour

Experience all the beauty the Cape has to offer in a day!

About the Tour

On this tour we spend the day circumnavigating our way around the Cape Peninsula exploring places of interest along the way. Cape of Good Hope is the most southwestern point of the Cape Peninsula.

The first Europeans to cross these waters date back as early as the mid 1400’s, their journey navigated by the stars into uncharted waters. Bartolomeu Dias and Vasco de Gama, Portuguese seafarers, were the first Europeans to discover the Cape. Dias called the cape Cabo das Tormentas “Cape of Storms” and it was later renamed to Cape of Good Hope to attract people to the Cape Sea Route that passed the southern coast of Africa.

Collect guest from accommodation, we arrive at Cape Point after either driving along the Atlantic Seaboard from Sea Point, through Camps Bay, Hout Bay, over Chapman’s Peak to Noordhoek (Dutch word meaning North Corner) and Kommetjie; or by taking the False Bay route past Muizenberg, via the picturesque villages of Kalk Bay and Simon’s Town.

Simon’s Town is home to the African Penguin colony residing at Boulders Beach and visiting them here is truly an unique experience. The 60 km journey will be scenic and there will be plenty of opportunities to stop along the way to take in the views, some photographs and soak in the sights.
