One of the beauties of Cape Town – and there are so many – is that it’s surrounded by nature. This means there are loads of exciting, adrenaline-pumping adventures to be had.

Why not hike with our resident specialist hiking guide called “The Fynbos guy” whose wealth of knowledge is unmeasurable. The Fynbos Guy is a registered mountain, hiking and nature guide that we collaborate with. Who is licensed to conduct day and overnight hikes on Table Mountain and throughout the Western Cape, including Cape Point, Hermanus and the Whale Coast, the Cape Winelands and the Cederberg mountains. His work ranges from half-day nature rambles to multi-day camping adventures.

Cape Town Nature Hikes
As a Cape Town naturalist guide, we put together bespoke tours based on specific interests and fitness levels. Most are a combination of short walks and hikes, combining multiple destinations. Keen naturalists will have plenty to choose from: the marine and coastal environments, bird watching tours, big mammals and whale watching.

Easy To Difficult Hikes
Good news for visitors to Cape Town who want to explore the mountains but don’t feel like a big uphill hike. Many places on the Cape Peninsula and beyond are perfect for easy walks and hikes. You still have great views and fynbos vegetation, and will learn as much about the environment as if you had hiked to the top of a remote mountain peak.

If you are fascinated by these majestic creatures,then Shark cage diving in Gansbaai should be on the top of your bucket list! The top-rated destination to cage dive with great white sharks remains in Gansbaai. This small fishing village is also known as the Capital or Mecca of the Great White Shark. Gansbaai is a beautiful two and half hour drive from Cape Town city centre, we can arrange all transfers to and from your accommodation, be prepared for a long and exciting day! Apex Sea Safari In Simons Town (False Bay)
Enjoy an early morning boat trip in False bay to Seal Island as this is the optimum time to view sharks actively hunting cape fur seals at the Seal Island colony. Experiencing many sightings of marine life along the way, Simon’s Town is only an hour’s drive from the city centre. Paragliding Off Signal Hill
Cape Town is one of the most spectacular places in the world to paraglide. Lion’s Head and Signal hill are the best locations to fly from because of their stunning views of Table Mountain and the Cape Town area. No experience is required when you are a passenger on a tandem paragliding freeflight, your pilot does all the work while you get to take in this unbelievable experience.

Mountain Biking
Enjoy the many mountain biking trails Cape Town has to offer. This is mountain biking paradise. There are some exceptional single track trails to be enjoyed in the winelands area as well as on the back slopes of Table Mountain. We can arrange bike rentals for you as well as an experienced cycling guide to show you the trails.

Kayaking Tours
Why not enjoy the beauty of Table Mountain, Lions Head and the Atlantic SeaBoard coastline from the comfort of our kayaks. This 2-hour Kayak tour will take you along the stunning Atlantic Seaboard coastline from the V&A Waterfront, past the Green Point lighthouse, before cruising back to base. Dolphins, seals, penguins, Sunfish and occasionally whales frequent our Cape Town waters and while we may not be lucky enough to encounter all this beautiful wildlife on every tour, we can assure you that this is an amazing experience that will tantalise all your senses! This activity is also available from Simon’s Town which can be included as additional experience with your Peninsula tour, where you will depart from Simon’sTown harbour, enjoying the scenery of this quaint coastal town, getting to see the penguins from the ocean side while taking in all the beauty of this exquisite coast-line in False Bay.
